Pride Picnic in the Park
725 Centre Ave
Reading, PA 19601
Part of Reading Pride's 20th Anniversary Celebration Series
Long before Berks Pride Fest welcomed thousands of attendees each year at Jim Dietrich Park, Pride in Berks County began with a much smaller gathering in Centre Park. While we've grown beyond the park that first welcomed us, we'll never forget where our journey began.
Join Reading Pride as we return to our roots for a joyful afternoon of community, gratitude, and celebration. This special 20th Anniversary event honors Centre Park—the place that helped make our festival possible for so many years—and the neighbors, volunteers, and supporters who believed in Pride from the very beginning.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket, your favorite dish to share (if you're able), and spend the afternoon reconnecting with friends, meeting new people, and celebrating the community we've built together over the last twenty years.
We'll enjoy:
- A community potluck picnic
- Live magic by Joel Delgado
- Special appearances by Reading Pride Ambassador Justice and former Ambassador Miss Amie (or Rainbow), working their own brand of magic throughout the afternoon
- Family-friendly games and plenty of time to relax together
There is no cost to attend. While bringing a dish to share is appreciated, it is never required. Your presence is what matters most.
